Marketing & Content Lead
Billy Bubbles has cracked one of those genuinely annoying everyday problems: running out of SodaStream gas.
Customers order online, leave their empties at the door, and get a full cylinder swapped back in. Simple. What started in a Fitzroy garage has grown into one of Australia's fastest-growing SodaStream refill services, with tens of thousands of customers across Melbourne, Geelong and Brisbane. Now they're going national.
Most of that growth has come from community and word of mouth. This role is about turning that into a proper engine.
The role
Marketing & Content Lead is a hands-on content, community and marketing role for someone who's equally comfortable behind a camera as they are running a street activation in a new city. You'll work closely with the founder and a growth marketing advisor, owning the content that fuels Billy Bubbles' growth as they expand market by market. One week you might be batch filming Reels in the Melbourne warehouse. The next, running an in-person campaign at a Brisbane market. The week after, building out email flows in Klaviyo.
Day to day, you'll be across:

Day to day, you'll be across:
- Planning, filming, and editing short-form video for Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Managing a monthly content calendar across platforms
- Growing and engaging the Billy Bubbles community (influencer relationships, comments, DMs, sentiment)
- Planning and running in-person activations in new cities, including interstate travel
- Building and managing email campaigns and flows in Klaviyo
- Supporting campaign strategy and performance reporting with the founder and advisor
- 3-5 years in marketing, content, or social media
- Strong video creation and editing skills, you know what performs on Reels and TikTok
- Comfortable in a fast-moving startup where structure is still being built
- Willing to travel interstate occasionally as new markets launch
- Klaviyo or email marketing experience
- Influencer coordination or event/activation experience
- DTC or small business background
