Head of Operations
Born from a mission to create simple, everyday solutions that help cat owners stay proactive about their cat's health, Fit Litter has grown from a small challenger into a category disruptor across AU, UK and NZ — and they're now accelerating toward becoming a household name.
The growth has been explosive, but they're nowhere near done. Now they're looking to bring on their first Head of Operations to support stage 2; expanding internationally, launching major new product lines, and scaling a world-class content and growth engine. Operations is the engine that turns all of that demand into delivered orders, looked-after customers, and efficient AI-first systems, and it needs a leader.
This is not a traditional supply chain or warehouse role. It's a systems-and-commercial operations leadership role for someone who runs a lean operation flawlessly, thinks in systems, and is relentless about making a business work better. You'll own operations end-to-end across AU, UK and NZ, and because the product range is deliberately tight, your real value shows up in the layer above: implementing AI, building automations, and taking cost out of the business. You'll lead a small onshore and offshore team and report directly to the Founder.

- Operations leadership - run the entire function end-to-end across AU, UK and NZ, set the standards and systems that keep a lean operation flawless, and lead and develop a small onshore and offshore team
- Supply chain & importing - own the full chain from suppliers to stock landed in each market, plan inventory across a tight range, and stand up new supply chains for each product launch
- Logistics, fulfilment & 3PL - manage 3PL partners and freight across all three regions to clear cost and service standards, keeping fulfilment fast and accurate as volume grows
- Order management & subscriptions - own order and subscription systems end-to-end, preventing issues before they ever reach a customer
- Customer service - lead the offshore team, own the post-purchase experience, and feed insights back to marketing
- Systems & AI - own the operational tech stack, build the AI infrastructure and automations, and set the standard for how the team uses AI day to day
- Commercial & cost - drive efficiencies across 3PL, supply chain, shipping and software, improving the economics of every order without compromising the customer experience
- New product operations - stand up the full operational setup behind each new hero product, ready well before launch
- Business systems, legal & accounting - keep the office and team running smoothly, and manage external legal and accounting partners
- 5+ years in operations, ideally within ecommerce or a physical-product business
- Hands-on experience with physical products, importing, supply chain and warehousing
- A genuine, demonstrable AI-first approach to your work (non-negotiable)
- A track record of building systems, processes and automations that made a business measurably better
- Experience leading or managing a small team
- A commercial mindset with a real focus on cost and margin
- Strong familiarity with ecommerce tooling — they use Shopify, Recharge, Xero and monday.com
- Experience operating across multiple international markets
- A strong, competitive base plus a performance-based bonus
